The Story Forge Philosophy

One of the realities of the entertainment industry is that much of what is accepted as fact is often based on hearsay, outdated information, or advice that has been repeated so many times it is mistaken for truth.

The Story Forge was created to bridge that gap. 

The Story Forge is a gathering place for actors, directors, screenwriters, producers, and storytellers who want to learn directly from accomplished professionals actively working in the entertainment industry. Through workshops, seminars, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, attendees will gain practical knowledge, valuable insights, and real-world guidance from experts who have built successful careers in film and television.

Glenn Morshower—actor, director, producer, and acting coach—brings more than 240 acting credits to his name, including appearances in the Transformers franchise, X-Men: First Class, 24, Supergirl, and most recently, the season finale of Tracker. Glenn will be conducting acting workshops and seminars focused on auditioning and performance techniques. 

Actor and producer Lisa Brenner will join us for discussions on women in film and strategies for building visibility in today's entertainment landscape. 

Actor, screenwriter, and director Devin Sidell will share her experiences and insights on overcoming challenges and turning setbacks into opportunities. 

Renowned casting director Lisa London, one of the most respected casting professionals in the country, will offer valuable auditioning advice and industry guidance. 

Screenwriter Nancy Schilbe, whose credits include the hit series The Pitt, will discuss the craft and business of screenwriting. 

Actress, producer, and advocate Nina Bergman will participate in panel discussions focused on maintaining a healthy mindset, lifestyle, and work environment both on and off set. 

Actress Sarah French will discuss the unique challenges women face in the entertainment industry and how to navigate them successfully. 

Celebrated casting director Paul Weber will conduct workshops on auditioning techniques while sharing insights from his extensive career in casting. 

Actor Charlene Amoia will lead workshops and panel discussions centered on character development, acting techniques, and performance preparation.
